This website has been produced as part of a group assignment for the ETEC 512 Conference on Learning, part of the MET graduate program at UBC.
We have undertaken to present the work of theorist Lev Vygotsky in an online learning context and to consider his work through different kinds of learning outlined in the case studies. The first two case studies are analyses that are reflection-driven; the third case study is a tutorial that directly applies Vygotsky’s concepts of the MKO and ZPD. The objective is to help us and our classmates learn more about one of the theories we have studied, as well as identify the limits and constraints of applying educational theories to online educational settings.
We look forward to your comments!
